Self Levelling Primer, P565-560X, is the latest non sanding primer technology. It can remove the need for sanding and should be used where speed & optimisation of the repair process is key. This product can be applied direct to Electrocoat and can be topcoated up to five days later without the need for primer sanding.

P565-5601 / -5605 / -5607 - Self-Levelling Primer

The Self-Levelling Primer P565-560x is developed using the latest priming technology and is particularly suitable for repairs where optimising the entire repair process is a key requirement.


Developed for use as an undercoat for waterborne basecoats in the Aquabase Plus (P989) range and 2K HS Plus (P471) topcoats, the self-levelling primer offers a truly productive repair process without sanding. This exceptional product can be applied directly over electrophoretic primers and then topcoated within five days without sanding, whether before or after application.


Excellent application properties, combined with self-levelling capabilities, provide a high level of final surface quality, comparable to that achieved with traditional sandable primers.

Using the Self-Levelling Primer eliminates the need for sanding (before and after application) and allows the entire repair process to be optimised.

Use of this Primer is especially suitable when working with new parts. In such cases, it allows optimal utilisation of the spray booth, as it provides the opportunity to prime new parts in advance in small batches and reduces their preparation time. Newly primed parts can then be stored and later topcoated together with the other body components.
